Privacy Policy

Kidzio is built so that protecting your family never means surrendering your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep.

Last updated May 29, 2026

The short version

  • We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • Each family’s data is isolated — we don’t pool or share it.
  • Children always see when a parent is viewing their location. No hidden tracking.
  • You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time.

What we collect

To provide the service, we process: account details (parent name, email), family and child profiles you create, device location when the feature is enabled, geofence and safety events, screen-time and content-filter signals, and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the platform.

How we use it

Only to deliver the features you turn on — live location, alerts, screen time, safe content, reports — and to keep the service secure and reliable. Our AI safety summaries are generated from anonymous aggregate counts only; your child’s names, messages, and exact location are never sent to any model.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not use family data to target ads. Aggregate product analytics never include raw position data.

Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate Kidzio, and only under contracts that bar them from using it for anything else. We may disclose data where legally required, and will tell you unless prohibited by law.

Your rights & controls

You can access, correct, export, or delete your family’s data. See your GDPR rights and, for children, our COPPA commitments. To make a request, email [email protected].

Retention

Location history is kept for the window your plan defines, then purged. Other data is kept only as long as your account is active or as required by law.

Security

How we protect your data is described on our Security page.

Changes

We’ll post any updates here and adjust the “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
